I am a member of TurboMembership.com. The owner, a marketer named John Delavera makes extensive use of password protection all through the membership. I haven’t come across anything quite like that in any other membership that I’m part of.
To manage it all, John recommends RoboForm. I didn’t immediately follow his advise, and suffered a bit for this mistake. (OK – if that’s the worst suffering I ever have to put up with, I’m going to count myself one lucky guy.) But seriously, this is one bit of advice I strongly recommend you follow – even if you aren’t a member of John’s site.
Why?
Because it takes the drudgery out of password management, including:
- security – this is vital!
- ease of password data entry – drudgery removal #1
- ease of password use – drudgery removal #2
Once installed, RoboForm puts up a toolbar in your IE or Firefox browser. Everything is then managed from the toolbar.
RoboForm won’t let you do a thing without setting up a master password. This is sort of like having a key to the mansion. Before you can access any of the rooms in the mansion, you have to get inside in the first place. So if you walk away from your computer, or if someone runs your browser without you being there to give the master password, your other logins are secure. Brilliant – and sweet.
The data entry of your login information couldn’t be simpler. You log in at a site once. RoboForm detects your action and pops up a data entry form – with your login info filled in. All you have to do is say OK. Done. How hard is that?
From that point on, whenever you come to a site, RoboForm stand ready to log in for you. You simply click the name of the site in the RoboForm toolbar, and voila! The login information is stuffed into the site’s login form. All you do is click OK – and you’re in. Could anything be simpler.
The Big Values: Time and Aggravation Saved
RoboForm saves me a lot of time and emotional aggravation.

You know about the pains of lost time and high aggravation, don’t you? Sure you do. Well RoboForm enables you to relax.

I don’t have to go hunting for passwords, I don’t have to remember them when I’m on the computers that have the software. And I don’t worry even a little bit about the security of this data. (I admit that I don’t put bank logins or anything that sensitive into RoboForm. That’s not because of any weakness in RoboForm. I just figure if my truly sensitive information isn’t on my computer, then the hackers of the world can’t get it. Or at least they’ll have a much harder time getting it.)
This is one of the best software investments I’ve made, and give this software 4 stars. * * * *
