It’s not often that I become a envious of a class of people. But today you can mark me as an envious. Every year a group of highly successful people from all walks of life come together in Monterey, California for a convention called TED Talks. TED stands for technology, entertainment, design.
Here’s what TED says about itself: TED is an event like no other it brings together more than 1000 thought-leaders, movers, and shakers … in Monterey California every year … for four days of learning, laughter, and inspiration.
Joining is by invitation only, and all the invites for the 2008 conference are already gone!
While I’m very interested in making money, this is not where my soul lives. No… it lives, but generally doesn’t reside, in Wow-Fields which can be described as any space, place, or condition where, as you participation there, you find yourself saying in a very positive way,“Wow!†over and over again.
Let me give you one example from TED Talks – an example of what is currently, for me, a Wow-Field.
Allow me to introduce you to Jeff Han, a computer scientist at New York University. Dr. Han presented at TED Talks a computer interface that made me say Wow! repeatedly. If you haven’t already seen this or something like it, I think you’re gonna be impressed as well. Here’s the video.
